Rain Barrels, Organic Gardening, Made In the USA

There seems to be a new trend. Suddenly being a "localvore" is cool. We think that's great! We call it "Keeping It Local!" It's what we've focused on ever since we started growing plants.

Our philosophy has always been to support local businesses and artists, sell only locally made or US made items, and be environmentally minded in our practices. Buying local means less overhead and environmental impact from trucking.

Growing our own plants means we offer a healthier plant product at less cost and allows us the ability to offer more variety because we select what we grow. It means we know the plants because we grow the plants. We can actually answer your questions and assist you based on knowledge and experience, not just what the plant's tag says.

We do all this to offer the highest value economically and environmentally.

We believe in supporting our local community, that's why we the majority of non-plant items we sell are produced locally. Our garden decor is hand made by local artisans. Our non plant products are from local producers that also believe in and practice positive environmental stewardship.

What's worth saving to you?

Rain Barrels Made in the USA! (Call for pricing/shipping info)

Made in Pennsylvania, The Rain Wizard Urn is a thing of beauty and clever design. Constructed with thick and durable polyethylene resin which holds up to the harshest elements, the exterior has the appearance of a terra cotta urn. The graceful lines, curves, and garnishes on the exterior make it an accent peace on your home's exterior and not something that just sticks to your house. The flat back design  optimizes space used and allows you to position the barrel close to walls or flat areas. The top is the only of its kind that not only acts as a planter space, but also features a unique watering system that leeches excess water from the barrel itself. There is also a channel built into the rim which diverts overflowing water to the front and away from the barrel and home foundation. You can have peace of mind that you're helping the environment by conserving water and giving your garden the best water it can get, devoid of harsh chemicals and rich in nutrients. And you can perform that conservation without sacrificing your home's outer appearance with the very stylish and functional Rain Wizard Urn.
Composter/Rain Barrel hybrid  Made in the USA from recycled materials!
Also made in Pennsylvania from recycled materials The Compost Wizard Hybrid is a combination rain barrel and compost tumbler that revolutionizes the way we do gardening. The innovative design cuts down cost and also saves space by reducing your footprint. But even more, the whole unit works together to fuse earth and water. As the top compost bin is rotated, gravity and centrifugal forces squeeze out excess compost tea from the
compost which flows out onto the base where it's channeled into the barrel. From there it mixes directly with the rain water collected from your gutters forming nutrient packed plant food. When composting, simply add your ingredients through the large mouth 12" lid and give it several good turns. As long as your compost batch stays between 100-150 degrees F, you should see compost within 2-6 weeks. The rain barrel base will hold 47 gallons of rain and compost tea which you can use as powerful plant food. Simply install the included spigot, and position at your preferred downspout and you're ready to go.
